Resilience in Sport

Success in sport doesn’t come easily, it takes hard work and great effort.

There are moments of great joy and despair – handling these ups and downs will stand you apart from the rest.

At Maddison Coaching we’ll help you to develop a resilient approach to your sport that will not only enable you to perform better, but also maintain a good balance for your mental health.

During this two-hour workshop we’ll introduce you to the concept of resilience in sport. We’ll also discuss the mental health issues that can affect sports performers and how they can cope better with the demands of competitive life. We will suggest some practical skills and advice on how to maintain a good healthy perspective on both performance and athlete welfare.

This workshop is designed for sports people at all levels, including enthusiastic amateurs. Led by Maddison Coaching’s Sports Performance Director Ben Erridge who also specialises in working with sports performers with learning difficulties and physical disability. Ben will also be joined by fellow associate Nicki Bass who specialises in Resilience coaching and mentoring.
