Nurturing Resilience in Everyday Life

Developing Resilience in our Teams

“Do not judge me by my success, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.”

Nelson Mandela

‘Resilience’ is defined as our ability to handle pressure or stress and be able to rebuild and recover from it. We all encounter stress, both in the workplace and at home. Staff turnover, sickness and lost productivity resulting from poor mental health, costs UK employers approximately £40bn; that works out at about £1000 per head for every employee.

Maddison Coaching’s symposium will provide insights into the best methods of developing resilience within you and your employees. It will explore the causes and effects of stress and, most importantly, will give you some effective tools to deal with them. You will leave the session confident in your ability to use those tools even in the most intense circumstances.

Using our evidence-based approach to training and our wealth of experience, the course will include interactive skills practise and reflective discussions on how to develop resilience within your workforce. It provides an opportunity for those passionate about assisting in health, wellbeing and productivity to share experiences and discover new skills to bring out the best in themselves and others.

At £200 for the day we include:

  • Professional and knowledgeable presentations by our speakers
  • Opportunities to practice the application of evidence-based techniques
  • Copies of the day’s materials and notes to take away
  • A scenic location, hot buffet lunch and all-day refreshments from 9.30am till 4pm

The event is being held on the 10th July at Norman Court School (near Salisbury). We do hope you will be interested in booking your place and look forward to welcoming you there.
Maddison Coaching’s quarterly symposiums are delivered by practitioners with extensive experience of leading successful teams to achieve tough challenges. Our symposiums are informative and relaxed with some practical applications that can be taken away and exploited by our attendees.
